Leftie is the most adorable Pitty mix puppy! He got his name because our vet experienced temporary paralysis on the left side of his body the day Leftie was brought in. Thankfully, our vet has made a full recovery and is back to work!
Leftie has a striking gray calico brindle coat and a very special story. He came to us as a very sick puppy, testing positive for Parvo. We pulled together to give him a fighting chance, and with medical intervention and the loving care of our vet staff, he is a true survivor and doing wonderfully! He absolutely loves to play with toys and snuggle up in a cozy blanket. Baths aren't his favorite, but he does enjoy being wrapped in a towel and hiding underneath it. Leftie is full of rambunctious puppy energy, but he tires himself out and is a fantastic napper.
Parvo is a serious virus, but as a survivor, Leftie has developed immunity and will never contract it again.
We are searching for a loving and appreciative family or individual to give Leftie his forever home. He needs people who understand the discrimination Pit Bull and Pit Bull mix breeds sometimes face and are prepared to advocate for him. He will thrive with calm, loving guidance, discipline, and training.

Leftie will do best in a home that can provide him with calm, loving care and consistent training. He needs adopters who will stand up for him and advocate for him, especially with those who may misunderstand his breed.
Ongoing Health
Leftie is a survivor of Parvo. He has developed immunity and will not be susceptible to the virus again.
Training & Support
Leftie is a rambunctious puppy who needs good discipline with calm and loving care and training. He may need his adopters to stand up for him with those who do not understand that he is a good dog.
