Elvis

Meet Elvis, a sweet 7-year-old German Shepherd/Labrador mix who came to us when his previous owner could no longer care for him. Elvis is a sensitive soul who needs a patient and loving family that will allow him to settle in at his own pace. He can be a bit fearful of strangers and may be unsure around some children. If you have children in your home, they must be 12 years or older, and they'll need to be present during the meet-and-greet to ensure a good match. Elvis would truly thrive in a calm environment, away from excessive visitors or busy activity. He's already crate trained and, once he feels secure, we're sure his playful personality will emerge. He loves a good game of catch and enjoys car rides! Elvis is ready to be someone's loyal best friend.

Ideal Home

Elvis would do best in a calm home without a lot of visitors or busy activity. If there are children in the home, they must be 12 years or older and present during the meet-and-greet. A dog-to-dog meet and greet on campus is required if you have other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Elvis has been vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Elvis requires a virtual behavior consult due to being shy/fearful and dog reactive. You can learn more by watching the provided video.

Elvis is located at the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA Oceanside Campus for Dogs at 2905 San Luis Rey Road, Oceanside, CA 92054. Transport may be available to other Wags locations.
