MEET KUMIKO! STATS: 1 year old, spayed, Siberian Husky Mix, 38 lbs AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a goofy, talkative, and sweet girl with the most contagious smile you’ve ever seen! I love playing outside, especially with my dog friends, and I absolutely love getting attention and scratches from my people friends. I have a moderate amount of energy – I am so excited to go play and run. I love going on walks so much that I will “WOO!” as we start our stroll! WHAT I LOVE: I love jogging around with the other dogs, chasing the ball, and enjoying the warm breeze in my fur. I enjoy getting my toes in the puppy pool, too! I have such a sweet personality and I love showing it off by sitting at your feet and waiting for you to pet me. KIDS: While I haven’t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks my playful nature and sweet personality would make me a good buddy for kids that are respectful and kind towards me. OTHER DOGS: I'm dog-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs! I go to playgroup here at the shelter every day! CATS: Unknown HER MATCH: I would be the perfect match for someone who needs a moderately active best buddy – walks, playtime outside, you know – the “usual” stuff! Most importantly, I need someone that is going to be a great companion and that loves to cuddle! I would do wonderfully with another dog sibling, but that isn’t a must – I just want to be surrounded by those who love me! SPECIAL NOTE: My eyes are two different colors! Once you complete the app, a staff member will call you in 1-2 business days once approved to set up a time for you to meet the pet you are interested in. Every adoptable pet is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention for dogs. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.
