very high energy dog who needs a young family who has kids around 7 and older dog friendly & kids friendly -- cats unknown

He was given to a former foster of ours who knew the family who knew she needed to save him. Since his living conditions were terrible/ neglected. He was in crate more hours then a dog should be in a crate for. Former foster finally convinced the owners to give him up. We are very thankful to our formers fosters for saving him / rescuing him from bad conditions he was in.

Dachshund is 1-1.5 years old - 18 pounds -- sweet as pie -- according to people who have him to us he is dog friendly, in progress of leash training- potty training in progress-- he in crate trained we were told. He is house broken though.

Once he warms up to you which is pretty quickly he will give you kisses.
