Pax is a handsome, 78 lb American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a black and white coat that makes him look like a tuxedo-clad gentleman. He's a bundle of joy and enthusiasm, treating every day like a lottery win and every car ride like an adventure. Pax has a PhD in Vibing and is a social butterfly who loves meeting new friends, whether they have two legs or four! He's the ultimate shadow, happily following his favorite humans from room to room, ensuring no one is ever lonely. If you're dreaming of a devoted, silly, and loving companion, Pax is your guy!
Ideal Home
Pax would thrive in a home with a fenced yard for zoomies, but he's also happy in a cozy apartment. He's great with kids 10 and up, but due to his size and occasional clumsiness, he'd prefer a home without very young children.
Ongoing Health
Pax is up-to-date on all vetting and has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is on monthly heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Pax is crate and potty trained and is a great big brother to the teens in his foster home. He can experience mild FOMO when his humans leave but quickly settles down. He is respectful of other dogs and would do well with a low to medium energy canine companion. Pax gave the resident cat a curious sniff and then went about his business, so he may be able to share his kingdom with a feline friend, pending a trial sleepover. He is already doing well on leash and loves to carry his favorite plush toys.

Pax is currently in Texas and can be transported to various drop-off locations nationwide, including WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT).
