Marsh

Hi there, I'm Marsh! I'm a 100% American Bully with a heart as big as my love for my people. I've worked hard on my manners and am proud of my obedience skills – I know 'sit', 'drop it', and 'come', and my off-leash recall is top-notch! I'm also crate and house trained, and I do wonderfully with a wireless fence. I'm an affectionate guy who genuinely believes he's a lap dog and I absolutely adore car rides, treats, and being close to my humans. I'm comfortable around horses and cows, but I do have a prey drive, so small animals like cats and chickens aren't a good fit for me. I get along well with older children (8 and up) and most adults, but I can be a bit protective, so slow and gentle introductions help me feel my best.

Ideal Home

I'd do best as the only dog in the home or with a calm, non-dominant canine companion. I'm not a good fit for homes with cats, chickens, or other small animals.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered, microchipped, up to date on all my vaccinations, and I'm currently on Simparica Trio for heartworm prevention. I weigh around 54 pounds.

Training & Support

I have great recall and know several commands! I'm still working on my relationships with other dogs, as sometimes we disagree over shared resources. Slow and controlled introductions are key for me to feel safe and confident with new people and animals.
