Meet Garden Kennels. Boston Terriers (BT's) have been my passion since my first one in 2013. I have been selectively breeding since 2019, earning my Breeder of Merit certificate in 2023. I have established a small boutique breeding program with some of the most desirable AKC bloodlines in the world. My dogs are bred to meet the breed standard (NO fad colors) as described by the guidelines set forth by my parent club The Boston Terrier Club of America (BTCA) and the AKC. I am actively showing and earning titles on my dogs in AKC conformation and performance events. My BT's are health tested and clear for the genetic disorders that the breed may be predisposed to. The puppies are hand raised in my home and are given constant attention, physical interaction and socialization. Training starts at three weeks using positive reinforcement and some Puppy Culture methods. I believe that breeding for temperament and intelligence is equally as important as structure and markings. This breed is very versatile and may surprise you with just how biddable they are! Any of my dogs can easily earn their ATT title, but most already have it. I occasionally have dogs available that would benefit from living in another's home in order to receive more attention, for competition or companionship. Each of them has their own unique personality and it is imperative to me that they are compatible with their new family and environment. Your home does not have to be perfect, it just has to be perfect for them. These dogs are like my children, so their future happiness is my main concern. Screening and ID verification is necessary to ensure their welfare. A home visit or facetime home tour will likely be required prior to placement. I offer a lifetime Welcome Home policy because anything I breed is always welcomed back, no judgement. Any incomplete introductions such as "Are any available" or "Im interested in a puppy" will be perceived as disingenuous.
