Lola

Lola is a beautiful 2.5-year-old female Cane Corso who was rescued from a breeding situation. She was the most traumatized of the dogs that came into care, and the world can still feel overwhelming for her at times. Lola has made incredible progress with time, patience, and gentle support, learning that people can be safe and kind. She continues to grow in confidence at her own pace and is looking for a very special foster-to-adopt home.

Ideal Home

Lola is looking for experienced XL-breed handlers who understand trauma recovery is a slow, steady process. She needs a calm, patient, and quiet home willing to move at her pace and celebrate small wins along the way. She must be the only dog in the home and is looking for an adult-only home. A foster-to-adopt home is preferred so she can continue to build trust and confidence while transitioning into a permanent placement. Lola isn't looking for perfection; she's looking for understanding.

Lola is spayed and has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Lola is still building confidence in new environments and needs calm structure and routine. She thrives with consistency and gentle handling and is learning that the world is safe through positive experiences.
