Meet Huichol! This handsome 6-month-old boy is about 13 kgs and will grow into a medium to large size dog. He's already vaccinated and de-wormed, ready to find his forever home! Huichol's story began in foster care when his mom was rescued from the highway while pregnant. He and his siblings were born shortly after, and now Huichol is ready to embark on his own adventure.
Ideal Home
Huichol is a big baby who loves to cuddle and shower you with kisses, often using his whole body weight to snuggle up close. He has a goofy and tender personality that melts hearts with love and treats. He's very food-motivated and responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement training. While he can be a little shy with new people at first, he warms up after a few minutes. Huichol is scared of small children, so a home with kids 12 years and older would be ideal. He's also looking for a home with friendly dogs and would prefer no cats. A yard with access would be perfect for his potty training.
Ongoing Health
Huichol is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been de-wormed.
Training & Support
Huichol is still working on his leash manners around other dogs and new people but is responding very well to positive training and listens well. He loves toys and car rides and seems to enjoy playing in water.
