Cassio

Cassio is one of nine adorable puppies who were rescued from a culvert pipe. Although one puppy sadly didn't make it, the remaining eight have found a safe haven with us. Cassio, estimated to be born in April 2023, is microchipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate core vaccines, and has been neutered.

It's baffling that after nearly three years in foster care, this handsome boy hasn't found his forever home. Cassio is a spirited and loving companion, weighing around 75lbs. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and sleeps soundly through the night. He's incredibly affectionate and always thrilled to meet new people and dogs on walks. He has experience living with several small dogs since he was a puppy and coexists peacefully with them, though he prefers his own space and his people to himself. Cassio also met a cat once and showed respectful disinterest.

Ideal Home

Cassio would thrive as the only dog in the household. He enjoys playing with other dogs in public and during playdates but prefers his home environment to be his own. He needs a completely fenced-in yard due to his energetic nature. As Cassio can be quite vocal when he wants something, he would do best in a home without shared walls, such as a single-family home, and is not suitable for apartments or townhomes. Cassio is too jumpy for small children, so a home without them is ideal.

Cassio is neutered and up-to-date on all his age-appropriate core vaccines.

Training & Support

Cassio is house-trained and crate-trained. While he generally remembers his manners, he is unaware of his size and can be jumpy, so continued guidance will help him learn to control his exuberance.
