My name is Cookie, and I'm an adorable Husky and Pitbull mix! I'm a big, playful puppy with a heart of gold. While I have bursts of energy like any good pup, I'm also a gentle giant who loves to snuggle and be close to my people. I'm a fast learner and an amazing listener, already mastering "sit" and doing great with potty training. I'm also making progress with signaling when I need to go outside. I used to be a little worried when left alone, but I've learned to be patient and quiet while waiting for my foster parents to return. I enjoy playing with the other dogs in my foster home, though I'm still learning to keep my play gentle all the time. I find the resident cat very interesting, and while I just want to play, I'm learning not to chase him and to respect his space. I think I'd do best with a dog-savvy cat. I haven't met any children yet, but I think I'd do best with older kids who are comfortable around big dogs, as my size and energy might be overwhelming for little ones. I'm a professional snuggler and love to be as close as possible, though I'm still working on personal space! I dream of sleeping with my family in my forever home. Please remember that I'm still growing and will likely be an extra-large dog with a good amount of energy, so a house is a must – I wouldn't be happy in an apartment. I can't wait to find my forever family and have tons of fun together!
Ideal Home
A house is a must, as I would not make a good apartment dog. Older children who are comfortable around big dogs would be ideal. I would do best with dog-savvy cats.

Training & Support
Still working on signaling when I need to go outside. Learning to play gently with other dogs and respecting a cat's boundaries. I am a very smart and eager learner.
