Violet

Meet Violet! This sweet, loyal girl is about 1.5 years old and is ready to find her forever home. Violet had a tough start, found roaming the streets of Houston, but she's come through it with a heart full of love and trust. She's a world-class cuddler who will army crawl across any surface to be near you, and her tongue is always sticking out in a happy grin! Violet is also a big fan of playing tug-of-war with the hose. She's proven to be a survivor and shines at adoption events, meeting new people and dogs with bravery.

Ideal Home

Violet would thrive in a home where her adopter is committed to continuing her training to help build her confidence. She does well with other dogs of all sizes and gains confidence from their presence, so a canine companion would be a great addition to her new family. While generally kid-friendly, she can be a little scared of loud little ones.

Ongoing Health

Violet is spayed, vaccinated, and up-to-date on all her shots. She is in excellent health.

Training & Support

Violet is fully potty trained and walks beautifully on a leash. She knows the "sit" command and is making great progress with "place" and crate training. She is terrified of squeaky toys, so it's best to avoid those.
