Meet Alura Italian Greyhounds. We are a passionate Italian Greyhound preservasionist breeder. Our small pack of 4-6 adults and puppies live in our home where they are the center of our universe. We usually have one or two litters a year that are specifically bred to be great pets that can win in the show ring, participate in performance activities and snuggle up on the couch with you. All of the beautiful moms of our puppies are our cream of the crop keeper girls from previous litters we've bred. The handsome sires they are mated with are thoughtfully researched and selected for their conformation, temperament, Champion pedigrees with healthy bloodlines and complimentary qualities to add to the union. This vision has been very successful and has produced many dogs in America and around the world winning: Best In Show, Best In Specialty Show, Best Puppy In Show, Best In Show Owner Handled; Gold, Silver and Bronze Grand Champions; several #1 ranked and Top 20 Italian Greyhounds; placements at National Specialties, Westminster and Crufts; dogs with multiple performance titles; Lure Coursing titles too.
