🌟 Meet Raisin — Small, Sweet, and So Grateful to Be Safe 🌟

Little Raisin was found running disoriented through the Arroyo del Indio in Bucerías. A kind woman brought him to safety and searched for his owners, but no one ever came. Thankfully, he’s now with us and finally getting the care he’s needed for far too long. 🐶 Sweet, calm, and loves to snuggle close 🐶 Heartworm negative after completing treatment 🐶 Cloudy left eye — improving with daily drops 🐶 Special needs: a few compressed vertebrae make his walk a bit stiff Despite his challenges, Raisin is happy, affectionate, and clearly grateful to be safe. He’s ready for a gentle, loving home that will cherish him.

We’ll review your application and may contact you for more info or a home check.

Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You’ll meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home.

⚠️ It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels during May and June, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable.

We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border — this remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward. 🐾✈️❤️
