Avery is a sweet, friendly 1-year-old female Pit Bull Terrier who is looking for a family to call her own. Her foster parents say she's an absolute gem! She is completely kid-friendly and gets along great with other dogs. Avery is past her puppy-crazies and is well-mannered on the leash, making her an excellent partner for adventures, whether it's a walk in the park or a fun hike. Food is Avery's love language, which means she is super easy to train and a quick learner. She's not a morning person and her idea of a perfect wake-up call is a slow stretch and a snuggle after breakfast. At the end of the day, Avery loves nothing more than snuggling up in bed with her people. Her past is her past, and she's not looking back. All that matters is that her heart is open, and she's ready to pour all her love into her new family.
