Meet Moxie!
This spirited, almost nine-year-old Korean Jindo is a loyal and affectionate girl who’s ready to be the center of someone’s world. At 36 pounds, Moxie is a medium-sized dog with a gentle soul and a deep love for routine and calm surroundings. Her favorite thing in the world is head scratches – she’ll happily sit beside you, nudging your hand every now and then for more love. Playtime is an event for Moxie! She enjoys a good game of tug and takes great pride in disarming squeaky toys with expert precision. She also loves the great outdoors, especially when she gets to explore the neighborhood on long-leash walks or keep an eye out for backyard critters. Moxie is fully house-trained, does well when left alone for short periods, and knows commands like “sit,” “down,” and “find it.” Thunderstorms can unsettle her, but a calm, reassuring presence helps her ride them out.
Ideal Home
Moxie needs a guardian who understands her boundaries. She is not compatible with other pets and would do best as the only animal in the home. While she enjoys affection from older children and teenagers, she is not suited for homes with young kids due to her need for predictability and space.

Training & Support
Moxie has a history of resource guarding, particularly around food and high-value toys. There have been a few instances where she has bitten when those boundaries weren’t respected.
