Adamma is a sweet, elegant, and gentle lady who reminds us of a kind lunch lady – always warm, even when being stern. She's earned her peace and is looking forward to enjoying the sun, lots of love, and being surrounded by her favorite people. We estimate Adamma is around 7-8 years old, possibly a chocolate lab/pittie mix, and she weighs 60 pounds. She's a chill, people-focused, no-drama kind of girl who isn't here for chaos. Adamma wants to be near her people, soak up affection, sneak gentle kisses, and peacefully exist. She desires a soft place to land and someone by her side.

Ideal Home

Adamma would thrive in a home with a little yard where she can nap in the sun and nose around. She'd prefer a house over an apartment, as she envisions her retirement with more open space and a low-energy environment. While she doesn't need long walks, she will still enjoy outdoor stimulation. She is not a fan of apartment living.

Adamma is past her puppy years and has no interest in chaos. She is happy to be a solo dog but if you have a dog, she prefers chill, respectful male dogs who don't pester or invade her space. She has shown she does not enjoy high-energy or pushy dogs and will be a stern-mama if she feels boundaries are crossed, though not in a mean way. She has shown too much interest in cats, so a no-kitty household is best. She would do well in a home with older, respectful children who want a companion more than a playmate.

Adamma is located in Texas and can be transported to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT). Transport is provided on USDA licensed vehicles with 24/7 care.
