Celeste

Celeste is a 5-year-old, 8-pound female Poodle mix who is a survivor of a puppy mill. While she can be a little shy around new people, Celeste is a happy girl who is eager to learn what a loving home is all about. She’s a quick learner and with a little patience and kindness, she’ll blossom into a wonderful companion. Her past experiences mean she'll need some guidance as she adjusts to life in a home, but she's ready for her fresh start!

Ideal Home

Celeste would thrive in a home with a patient and loving family. She would do best with another small, social dog to help her gain confidence, and a securely fenced yard is highly recommended for her safety and for potty training.

Ongoing Health

Celeste has been spayed and all her vet care is up to date, so she is ready for her new home!

Training & Support

As a former breeding dog, Celeste may be undersocialized and a bit scared or skittish. She will need to learn basic things like how to walk on a leash, go up stairs, and what everyday household items are. A patient adopter who celebrates every step of her progress and accepts her for who she is will be key to her adjustment.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• The adoption fee is $495.
• Celeste is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations and preventative care.
• A 30-day trial period is offered. If the adoption doesn't work out, the adoption fee will be refunded minus $100 within 30 days of the dog's return.
• Adopters are required to return the pet to us if they are ever unable or unwilling to care for the animal.

Transporation

Celeste is located in Mukwonago, WI. Adopters must be willing to drive to meet and adopt her. We primarily adopt within WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI.
