York

My name is York, and boy am I adorable! I'm a sweet boy who's very trainable and eager to please. I'm also good in my kennel. While I enjoy the company of people here at the rescue, I'm a bit of a one-human kind of dog and take my job as protector very seriously. Because of this, I do not like visitors coming into "my" home. I have been adopted twice already, and while I am a good boy, I need a special kind of family that understands my needs.

Ideal Home

I would do best in a home where I can be the sole focus of my human's attention. I need a family that understands that I do not like visitors in my home. I would also prefer a fenced yard.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

I am very trainable and eager to please! However, I will need to work with a trainer to help me accept visitors and/or to be comfortable in my kennel when visitors come into my yard or home. Once I claim a home as my own, please don't push me to be social without a trainer's help.
