Ranger is a 9-year-old German Shepherd Mix who may be considered a senior, but he certainly doesn't act like it! He has an abundance of energy, enthusiasm, and a deep love for life. Ranger is happiest when he's engaged and having fun, whether he's exploring the yard, playing with his favorite toys, or soaking up attention from his people. True to his shepherd nature, Ranger enjoys inspecting storm drains for wildlife and keeping a close watch on squirrels. He is extremely food-motivated, which makes him eager to learn and easy to reward. Ranger absolutely loves to play! Fetch is a favorite pastime, and he enthusiastically chases down tennis balls. He also enjoys squeaky toys and is determined to liberate every squeaker. Tug-of-war is another favorite game where his playful strength shines. Despite his active side, Ranger is also a super cuddler who loves spending quality time with his people. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is more of a playful running buddy than a rough-and-tumble wrestler. If you're looking for a dog who can be your adventure partner by day and your cuddle buddy by night, Ranger may be the perfect match.
