She already knows "sit," is working on "fetch" (mainly for peanut butter rewards), and gets adorably excited for meals, outdoor time, and all the little moments in between. Ice chips, chicken treats, belly rubs, and window watching rank high on her list of favorite things. Athena is athletic, affectionate, and deeply connected to her humans. She loves hard and stays close, offering comfort in ways that make her feel truly special. Ongoing Health
Athena will be spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventative care. A health exam will be completed by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.

- The adoption fee is $350 plus transport, which varies by location.
- The adoption fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old.
- All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention.
- Interviews and meet-and-greets occur via video call.
- Wags reserves the right to deny any application deemed unsuitable for the animal.
- Adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis; the goal is to find the best possible home for each animal.
Transportation
Athena is currently fostered in Fort Worth, Texas, but is available for transport to a predetermined location agreed upon by Wags.
