Winy

Winy is a charming and intelligent 1-year-old male Labrador Creole mix who weighs around 30 lbs. He was rescued in March 2024 and is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. Winy is a loving, obedient, and playful companion who is sociable with people, children, and other dogs. He enjoys playtime, walks, and running, and he absolutely adores affection. While he can be a little shy when first meeting new people, he quickly warms up and melts into your arms. He's described as affectionate, docile, playful, loyal, joyful, and funny. Winy is already crate and leash trained. He and his six siblings were found in a field shortly after birth.

Ideal Home

Winy would thrive in a home with an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. He needs a fenced backyard and owners with an open mind towards the needs and behaviors of rescued animals, along with experience in dog behavior and training. He requires high tolerance and patience, as he is not house-trained.

Training & Support

Winy is not house-trained and will require patience and consistency in this area. His new family should have experience with dog behavior and training, and be prepared to provide ongoing education and support.

Transportation

Winy is currently fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. He is available for transport to the East Coast of the United States. A transport fee of $400.00 will be paid by the adopter prior to departure and covers delivery to the adopter's home address.
