Valentina is dog-social and loves to run around, but she truly adores being the center of human attention. Shelter life can be a bit overwhelming for her, as it's loud and busy. She can also get a little possessive when she's not getting the affection she craves. In a calm home with plenty of structure and love, Valentina will absolutely shine. She's sweet, active, and full of personality. While she's dog-social, she prefers being the star of the show and would likely thrive as a solo dog, or with a very carefully selected canine companion. Valentina is ready to adjust quickly to a loving home where her worth is recognized.

Transportation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. During the summer months, it can be challenging to secure flight companions to Canada, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at the Peace Arch Park at the border. Volunteers have successfully helped bring dogs to adopters at the border during the summer months, which remains a great option.
