About Dahlia Daisy Flower the MINI Lab

Dahlia Daisy Flower is a delightful 10-month-old "itty bitty labbie pittie" who is as sweet and delicate as her floral namesake. Weighing in at around 35 pounds, she's expected to reach a maximum of 40-45 pounds, making her a perfectly pint-sized companion. Dahlia is a morning person who loves to start her day with a potty break and some zoomies, followed by a brisk walk where her leash skills are nearly perfect, unless a squirrel dares to cross her path! She adores exploring trails and parks, making friends with everyone she meets, and is a water-lover who isn't afraid to jump into any creek or river she encounters. Dahlia would be an excellent camping buddy for those warm PNW summers!

During the workday, Dahlia is happy to snooze by her foster mom's side, taking breaks for play with the four other dogs in the home. She gets along beautifully with all of them, including two small females, a medium male, and a large female. Dahlia enjoys a good game of fetch with pine cones and carrying around big sticks.

Ideal Home

Dahlia would thrive in a home that can provide her with plenty of exercise, ideally with another playful dog. While she can do well in a dog-friendly apartment or condo, she does need a home without shared walls due to her occasional crying in her crate when left alone. She hasn't been tested with cats, but with respectful children 8 and up who will engage in play, she is expected to do very well.

Ongoing Health

Dahlia is a healthy young pup.

Training & Support

Dahlia is crate and house trained. She will initially cry in her crate when left alone, but does settle down eventually. This is something that will need to be re-established in her new home. She is expected to settle in her crate at night without issue once a routine is established, and would eventually love to share a bed with her humans.
