Stella is about 55 pounds and is already house-trained and crate-trained. She's also spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Stella has undergone extensive training and knows commands like sit, down, stay, heel, place, and recall cues. Her caregivers have dedicated over six months to training her, achieving impressive neutrality around other dogs. Stella is remarkably quiet and communicates primarily through body language.
Ideal Home
Stella would thrive in an experienced adult-only home that practices positive reinforcement. She is not compatible with cats or other dogs and requires a fenced yard. It's crucial that her new family carefully manages introductions and advocates for her personal space, as Stella has a history of biting when unfamiliar people try to touch her without her consent or before trust is established. She needs adopters who will allow her to initiate contact and respect her boundaries.
