Suzie

Meet Suzie, a delightful 5-year-old mixed breed who has been waiting far too long for her forever family. Despite her wonderful nature, she's been overlooked, which is heartbreaking for us. Suzie is full of life, love, and a playful spirit that shines through in everything she does. She’s the perfect companion – always ready for playtime, eager for cuddles, and your biggest fan. Once Suzie decides you’re her person, she’ll love you with her whole heart, becoming your shadow and adventure buddy. She’s affectionate, loyal, a little goofy, and absolutely adores toys!

Ideal Home

Suzie would thrive as the only dog in the home or with confident canine companions who enjoy her fun, rough-and-tumble play style. Given her zest for life, she would do best with older children who can match her energy. Suzie also does well with boundaries, and a consistent, structured household would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Suzie is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccines and preventative medications. She comes with a health certificate before transport. She does find thunderstorms a bit unsettling and feels most secure in her kennel during those times.

Training & Support

Suzie is house and leash trained. While she is learning basic manners and can sometimes forget her own strength and size, a patient family that understands her needs will help her succeed. She is kennel trained and sees her kennel as a safe haven, especially during storms. She is able to roam the house without issue.
