Happy Taco Tootsday, everyone! I'm Pugsley PC, a handsome 1-year-old Lab/German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a need for a patient, gentle family. My journey to finding my forever home has been a little rough; I've had a scary upbringing, and loud noises and fast movements can startle me. But don't let that fool you! In my foster home, I'm learning that the world can be a wonderful place, especially with treats and reassurance. I'm a social butterfly with kids and other dogs, and I absolutely love spending time with my humans. My foster mom says I'm the best boy, and I might think I'm a lap dog, but who can resist a cuddle from a big ol' sweetheart like me? I'm still working on my leash skills as I get very excited about all the new sniffs, but I'm a quick learner and eager to please.

Ideal Home

A patient and gentle family who understands that I can be timid. I do best with kids and dogs, but I'm not a good fit for a home with cats. Because I'm still a bit skittish around fast movements, please ensure children in the home are gentle with me.

Ongoing Health

I'm neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. I'm a healthy boy ready for my new life!

Training & Support

I'm crate and potty trained! I'm also learning to walk nicely on a leash, but I do get excited about exploring new smells. With a little practice and positive reinforcement, I'll be strutting my stuff in no time. My foster mom says I'm a bit of a lap dog, so be prepared for some extra snuggle time!

Transporation

I'm currently being fostered in South Texas and can be transported to other states.
