Hi there! My name is Cafecito, and I'm a resilient and loving dog who has overcome a lot. Despite a challenging past that led to the amputation of my back leg, my spirit remains strong, and my capacity for love is boundless. I'm a testament to the good in the world and the strength found in survival. I'm eager to leave the shadows of neglect behind and embrace a future filled with joy and companionship. I have an open heart and am learning to trust again, ready to shower my forever family with affection.

Ideal Home

A loving and patient home where I can continue to gain strength and confidence. My journey has taught me the value of a caring touch, and I'm excited to share my love with someone special.

Ongoing Health

I have had hip surgery and now walk with three legs. I am currently gaining strength at the Sula Society.

Training & Support

I am learning to trust and open my heart to everyone I meet. I am ready to learn and explore where life's road will take me.

I am currently located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Once adopted, I can be flown to my forever home in Canada or the United States with a volunteer flight angel to the nearest airport.
