Rum is a beautiful 1-year-old mix weighing approximately 35 lbs. While her exact breed mix is unknown, she's believed to be a blend of pointer, heeler, beagle, and possibly dalmatian. Rum was found with her sister, Tequila, and they were rescued from behind a liquor store as puppies, which is how they got their names. Though not bonded, they were found together and share a striking resemblance. Rum is more active and playful than her sister, making her a wonderful companion for an energetic household. She is sweet, friendly, loving, playful, gentle, and kind, and she adores all animals and people she meets. Her intelligence and joyful spirit make her an ideal addition to the perfect home.
Ideal Home
Rum would thrive in a more active home that can keep up with her playful nature. She loves children of all ages and would be fantastic in a home with them. She also gets along well with other dogs of all sizes and would be happy in a home with or without canine companions. Rum has been introduced to cats and shows no prey drive, so she could live happily with them with proper introductions.
Ongoing Health
Rum is spayed, heartworm negative, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. She is also microchipped and has been dewormed. She will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.
Training & Support
Rum is crate trained and house trained. She also walks well on a leash and enjoys car rides, making her a great adventure buddy.

Rum is currently located in Texas.
