Sorpresa

Sorpresa is surprise in Spanish, and we think she's a wonderful surprise! She came to us in January 2022 when her owner could no longer care for her. Despite her rocky start, Sorpresa is a loving and affectionate girl who has been waiting patiently for her forever family. She enjoys spending time with people and gets along well with other dogs.

Ideal Home

Sorpresa is looking for a home where she can be the only dog. She has some resource guarding tendencies with her food and a high prey drive towards small critters like lizards, so a home without these would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Sorpresa is a healthy girl.

Training & Support

Sorpresa can be a bit protective of her food. Positive reinforcement training can help her become less focused on resource guarding.
