Saffron isn’t just another puppy—she’s the one who naturally takes the lead, the one the others look to, the one who walks into a room like she already belongs there. Confident, curious, and incredibly smart, Saffron has already mastered the basics. She’s fully potty trained, sleeps peacefully on her own, and is comfortable in her crate. On walks, she moves with purpose and ease, making her a joy to have by your side. Saffron and her sisters were abandoned in the front yard of a kind stranger in the Houston area. Wanting the best for them but unable to keep them, he reached out for help—and thanks to a dedicated foster, Saffron got her second chance. Since then, she’s blossomed. At about 5 months old and 30 pounds, she’s expected to grow into a beautiful Shepherd/Hound/Cattle Dog mix with both brains and heart. Saffron is playful, affectionate, and wonderfully social with other dogs. She loves connection, thrives on engagement, and has that special spark that makes her unforgettable.
Ideal Home
Saffron needs a home that appreciates both her intelligence and her determination. She is a smart and curious girl who has already shown she can climb out of a 36” playpen.

Saffron is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She is healthy and thriving.
Training & Support
Saffron is fully potty trained and sleeps peacefully on her own, and is comfortable in her crate.

- The adoption fee is $400 and includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, and deworming.
- An additional transport fee of $300 covers transport and necessary vet/documentation requirements.
Transporation
Saffron is currently being fostered in Texas but is available to transport to approved adopters in the Midwest, Northeast, and Canada.
