Benny is a charming 4-4.5-year-old, neutered male Australian Cattle Dog mix, weighing around 45-50 pounds. He's a sweet soul with a love for water and a wonderfully playful, fun-loving personality. Benny ended up at a shelter through no fault of his own, but he's ready to leave that behind and find his forever family. He's up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and is both crate trained and fully potty trained. Benny enjoys playing with other medium to large dogs, and has even shown a knack for de-escalating tension between canine companions. He previously returned to a shelter due to an improper introduction with another male dog, but in his current foster home, he's been playing wonderfully with dogs his size and larger. Cats are unknown. Benny is a fantastic traveler, rides well in the car, and doesn't suffer from separation anxiety. Whether he's your only furry friend or shares his home with a compatible canine pal, he'll be a great addition. His absolute favorite pastime, besides splashing in the pool, is frisbee! He's a smart, handsome boy with a medium energy level – he enjoys activity but isn't hyper – and would thrive in an active, playful home.
