He's not really a rough-and-tumble play kind of guy, but he's totally comfortable hanging around other dogs, even in big playgroups. His ideal furry companion would be a gentle, easygoing dog who enjoys a good sunbathe more than a wrestling match. But he's also totally fine being the only dog. He's confident, content, and absolutely loves people. Otto is kid-tested and approved! He's been around a one-year-old and a four-year-old and handled both with grace. He gives space when needed and makes sure to give lots of kisses without being overwhelming! He'd make a fantastic family dog, especially in a home with little ones who want a furry friend to grow up with. Otto enjoys the outdoors and would love a backyard where he can stretch his legs, sniff around, and catch some sun. He doesn't need hours of exercise, but he does enjoy having space to explore and chill out. His version of play usually involves a few goofy zoomies, a play bow or two, and then it's nap time. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page. Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience.
