Meet Misty! This sweet 2-year-old, 55-pound Great Pyrenees mix has a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. While she's a bit shy initially, once she warms up, she's all sweetness and gentle affection. Misty is a polite companion who coexists well with cats and makes friends with other dogs without any fuss. She would likely do best with children who are past their younger, more boisterous years. Misty also comes with a minor quirk: a mildly collapsing trachea. This means she needs to use a chest-type harness for all leash activities, as collars are not suitable for her. Apart from an occasional cough if the harness isn't fitted quite right, this condition is manageable and not a significant issue.

Ideal Home

Misty thrives in a home with a fenced yard, which is a non-negotiable requirement. She'll do best with a family that appreciates the quiet nature of gentle dogs and can offer her kindness, patience, and time to blossom. A comfy sofa for napping would be a wonderful bonus!
