Meet Grumpy, one of seven joyful little Chug (Chihuahua/Pug Mix) pups ready to charm their way into your heart!
At just 10 weeks old, Grumpy is all personality, wiggles, and puppy curiosity. He's a bold explorer who loves to lead the way, but also a snuggly sidekick happiest in your lap. He's the perfect mix of playful chaos and sleepy cuddle piles.
Grumpy and his siblings came from a hoarding situation in San Jacinto after their elderly owner could no longer care for the growing number of dogs and is preparing to leave the country for an unknown period of time. Despite their rough start, they've stayed sweet, social, and full of love.
Now safe and on the path to a brighter future, Grumpy is ready for a family who will show him what it means to be cherished. He's great with kids, friendly with other dogs, and comfortable around cats, making him a wonderful addition to many types of homes.
Whether it's zooming around the yard, tumbling over toys, or curling up for a nap in a warm lap, Grumpy is ready to turn everyday moments into something special. If you're looking for puppy love in its purest form, Grumpy might just be your perfect match.

- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11 am-5 pm and open to the public.
- It is first come first serve, and we do not evaluate applications prior to an event.
- If there are multiple interested parties for the same dog or puppy at the same time, we would pick the best out of the 10 applications.
- Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend, as it changes from week to week.
- Please find our application at lovejoyfoundation.org. When you come to an event, please bring that filled out in hand with you.
- A Wags inquiry is not applying for the dog. You have to come to the event or send an email inquiry to our records email.
