This small but mighty pup is all heart and personality, ready for a home filled with love and adventure! Penn forms deep connections with his humans and loves to be their loyal protector, even if it's just from perceived threats like buzzing bees. He might be a little shy at first, but once he feels secure, his goofy, affectionate side comes out in full force. Get ready to be charmed by his adorable kangaroo-like paw bounces when he gets excited!

Penn has a moderate energy level, perfect for exciting outings and cozy cuddles. His compact size makes him adaptable to many living situations, and he’s done well with 4-foot fencing. He’s accustomed to living with other dogs from his past and would likely thrive in a multi-dog home. However, he can put on a bit of a tough act, so he’d do best with confident, calm dogs who are larger than him and can understand his big personality in a small package.

Ongoing Health

All dogs at the Rescue Ranch receive excellent veterinary care. Penn is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

Penn is described as having a "big-dog attitude in a little-dog body," so he would benefit from a patient owner who can help him navigate his interactions with other dogs.
