Rocky

Meet Rocky! He's a young, playful chocolate Lab/Pit Bull mix with a heart of gold. Rocky can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once he warms up, he's all about fun and games! He absolutely loves to run, chase, and carry footballs, and he especially enjoys a good game of keep-away. Rocky came to us with his brother, Mason, who has since found his forever home. Now that he's on his own, Rocky has shown an interest in calmer canine companions and can be seen investigating them through his kennel fence without excessive barking or jumping. This suggests he might be able to share his home with another mellow dog.

Ideal Home

Rocky would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he has plenty of space to run and play. He would do best in a home where he can be given time to warm up to new people.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Rocky is already potty trained! He does need some assistance with leash walking, as he is a strong boy. He'll benefit from a confident handler and continued training to master his walking skills. He has a history of roughhousing with his brother and can sometimes bark at other dogs. While he may be able to live with a very chill and submissive dog, he might be happiest as the only dog in the household.
