CD:Ruger

Ruger is a loyal, sweet, low-energy 4-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier who weighs 64 pounds and loves relaxing beside his people. He enjoys movie days, cuddling, durable chew toys, and showing off his joyful “AmStaff smile.”

Heavy rain and thunderstorms make Ruger nervous, so he appreciates a safe spot and extra cuddles during storms.

Ideal Home

Ruger is friendly with cats and does well with small, submissive female dogs. He dislikes being left home alone and would thrive with people who are home often, work from home, or can take him along.

Ongoing Health

Ruger is fully up to date on his vaccines and is reported to be healthy. He is neutered and house-trained.

Training & Support

• Ruger is fully crate-trained, though he prefers being with his people and should not be crated for too long.
• He walks on leash with a training collar, which helps manage his strength and keep walks structured.
