Dougie Mac is a 3-year-old, 55 lb pittie mix who is full of love and ready for adventure! He's the happiest, goofer-est boy you'll ever meet, always up for anything and guaranteed to steal your heart. With his perfect blend of squishy chunk and muscular build, Dougie Mac is ready for hikes, beach trips, or just lounging with you on the couch. He's a social butterfly who adores people and is especially wonderful with children. He's also a dog-friendly guy who enjoys playing with other pups and is respectful of those who prefer a calmer interaction. Dougie Mac even showed a respectful and curious demeanor around the resident cat, Biggie, and we're happy to arrange a cat sleepover to ensure a purr-fect match. He's a smart boy who loves treats and is eager to please, already knowing "sit" and responding well to leash corrections. Dougie Mac is potty-trained and has great house manners, making him a joy to have around. He would be happiest in a home with a backyard where he can explore, play with his beloved squeaky toys, and splash in any available water – he's a true water lover!

All vetting has been completed, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. He has also been tested for heartworms and treated if necessary.
Training & Support
Dougie Mac is eager to please, loves treats, and already knows "sit." He responds well to corrections and is easy to walk on a leash, though he may pull initially out of excitement. He is potty-trained, is working on crate training, and has shown excellent house manners. His willingness to learn means he will pick up any new training quickly and enjoyably.
