Scarlet is a sweet, gentle, and playful six-year-old Husky with a soft spirit and a heart that warms up quickly to both people and other dogs. She weighs 44 pounds and is ready to begin the next chapter of her life.
Scarlet has been raised outdoors her entire life, so living inside a home will be a brand-new experience for her. She will need patience and time to adjust to things most dogs already know, like walking on hard floors. Right now, she tends to lie down when she’s unsure of the surface, but with encouragement, she showed improvement within minutes. Her current owners say she will let you know when she needs to go outside for potty breaks, so with a little consistency, she has great potential to settle into a home routine.
This girl is extremely sweet and very loving. She is great around kids and enjoys meeting new people. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs. As for cats, she doesn’t seem particularly interested in them. When a cat hissed and swatted at her, she gave a small growl out of surprise but quickly calmed down and went right back to ignoring the cat.
