Roxy is a sweet young lady who was found on Roxboro Street in Durham, NC. She was initially scared but with some patience, she came around and was brought in to be checked for a microchip, but none was found. Roxy is a bit underweight, so her exact age is a guess, but we believe she is young. She has been surviving on her own and seems to have been eating trash or whatever she could find. Roxy was a dream during her bath and tolerated her nail trim with quiet endurance. She settled into her crate very quickly and is highly motivated by food and treats. Roxy is a joy to have in the car and gets along well with other dogs. She is people-friendly, always looking for pets and treats, and loves to snuggle close to her humans. While she enjoys playing with our energetic puppy, Roxy has a medium energy level, making her a great companion. She is not a barker and is not a picky eater. Roxy is well-behaved in stores, showing curiosity about her surroundings while remaining attentive. She is smart and eager to please. Roxy is housebroken, spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and crate trained.
