My name is Tony, and I'm a sweet 13-year-old, 27 lb gentleman looking for my forever home. My previous owner passed away, and now I'm in a loving foster home, ready to share my love with a new family. I recently had my eye removed and was neutered after necessary bloodwork, thanks to a generous grant.

Ideal Home

I'm a bit of a lovebug and enjoy being with my people, so a stay-at-home or work-from-home family member would be wonderful. I do vocalize a bit when separated, but I've never been destructive. My energy level is moderate (3-5), and while I enjoy a playful moment now and then, my favorite thing is to collect love. I am deaf and have limited sight, so a home that can ensure my safety and provide plenty of affection is ideal. I'm great with other dogs and cats, though I do tend to investigate their food bowls! I've also been wonderful with older children (10 and 13) who have visited, but any children in my new home should be old enough to respect my special needs.

Ongoing Health

I'm up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. I have only a few teeth left but can eat just fine. As a senior, a daily joint supplement like Cosequin is recommended.

Training & Support

I'm deaf, so hand gestures are used to communicate with me. I haven't been crated and don't require one. I'm doing well with potty training on a schedule and sometimes indicate when I need to go outside, though my foster is working with me on some indoor marking.
