A little about them
Meet Jax, a handsome German Shepherd/Black Mouth Cur mix with impeccable manners and a goofy, affectionate personality. This 60-pound gentleman loves belly rubs, fetch, relaxing with his people, and making friends. After surviving as a stray in Houston and spending time in a high-kill shelter, Jax is thriving in foster care with two human brothers and three canine siblings.
Ideal Home
Jax is wonderful with adults and children and excellent with other dogs. He is a dog daycare favorite and enjoys both couch time and enthusiastic play. His ideal family will appreciate an affectionate, playful companion who loves belly rubs and has no respect for personal space.
Ongoing Health
Jax is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has completed heartworm treatment. Deworming is included with his adoption preparation.
Training & Support
Jax is potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained. He politely raises a paw when he wants dinner, crosses his front paws when relaxing, and enjoys fetch.
