Hi there! I'm Leo, a gentle giant with a heart full of love and a nose for adventure. My absolute favorite thing in the world is a car ride with the windows down – there are just so many amazing smells to discover! When I'm not exploring, I enjoy lounging around, indulging in my favorite yak-cheese chew, going for walks, and simply hanging out with my favorite humans. I also take my neighborhood watch duties very seriously; I need to stay informed about everything happening outside!

I'm a pro at getting along with everyone, from my canine pals (including five Dachshunds and a Lab/Newfoundland mix) to the adorable four-year-old human next door. I'm super gentle with the little ones, but I also love a good game of keep-away, a playful chase, or a fun wrestling match with my bigger friends. I prefer to have the freedom to roam around the house, but I can go in my crate when needed.

Ideal Home

I thrive in a home where I can be part of the family and have plenty of opportunities for car rides and walks. I also do best when I have a canine companion, as I experience some separation anxiety. I'm learning to trust that my people will always come back, and another dog would be a great comfort to me while I continue to build that confidence.

I'm a senior pup who has been spayed/neutered and vaccinated. No specific health conditions were mentioned.

Training & Support

I can be a bit stubborn and strong-willed at times, but I'm a quick learner with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. Having another dog in the home will help with my separation anxiety.
