Meet Sparky, your gentle and loyal companion! Sparky is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix, estimated to be born on February 2nd, 2022, and weighs a solid 53lbs. He's the kind of dog who brings a calm, steady joy into your life. With his sweet nature and gentle soul, he's happiest right by your side, whether that's curled up on the couch for cuddles or joining you for a peaceful walk around the neighborhood. This handsome boy loves the simple things: belly rubs, fresh air, and spending time with his people. At home, Sparky is wonderfully mellow and easygoing, happily matching your pace. He enjoys walks and trips to the dog park, where he can stretch his legs and take in all the sights and smells. He walks nicely on a leash, though he might get a little excited if a squirrel crosses his path! Sparky does well with other dogs, especially with proper, calm introductions. He appreciates when new friends take things slow, and once he's comfortable, his sweet personality truly shines.

Training & Support
Sparky is kennel and potty trained. He walks nicely on a leash, though he might get a little excited if a squirrel crosses his path. He does well with other dogs, especially with proper, calm introductions.

Transportation
Sparky is currently located in Houston, TX. Transportation is available out of state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
