Meet Sunny!
Sunny is a handsome, 9-year-old, 70lb neutered pittie mix who is full of joy and brings happiness wherever he goes. He's a playful, goofy boy with a huge heart and an infectious enthusiasm for life. Whether he's giving kisses, showing off his tricks, or playing with his favorite toys, Sunny is happiest when he's spending time with his people. He has been living with a professional trainer and has an excellent foundation in obedience, knowing commands like sit, down, stay, and place. Sunny is fully house-trained and crate-trained, settling nicely in his kennel at night for 6-8 hours. He is eager to learn and enjoys continuing his training due to his food motivation.
Ideal Home
Sunny has a moderate energy level and would love a home that enjoys daily walks, playtime, and including him in family activities. He walks well on a loose leash, although he can become excited when he sees other dogs and may pull or lunge. With calm guidance and redirection, he quickly refocuses. Sunny loves meeting new people and greets them with excitement, sometimes a little too much enthusiasm. He can get mouthy when he's excited, so he'd do best with older, dog-savvy children (10+) who can help reinforce good manners and respect his boundaries. Sunny's ideal home is an active family or couple who will continue his training, provide structure, and shower him with the love and affection he thrives on.
