Meet Max! This handsome mixed-breed pup is almost 1 year old (DOB 7/28/25) and weighs around 40 pounds. Max is the perfect blend of adventure buddy and couch companion, ready to join you on morning walks and then happily settle in for a nap by your side. He thrives on being with his people and would love nothing more than to be your favorite lap warmer. Max is incredibly loving and forms strong bonds, though he can sometimes be a little protective and might misinterpret situations – but he's making great progress with redirection in his foster home!

Ideal Home

Max is looking for a home with adults or older, dog-savvy children who can respect his boundaries, as small children make him anxious.

Ongoing Health

Max is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Max is nearly fully potty trained and is 100% kennel trained. He has excellent house manners and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He mostly ignores cats, though he sometimes sees them as potential playmates.
