Jax

Say hello to sweet Jax! This loving and affectionate 1-year-old, 40 lb Labrador Retriever mix is looking for a fresh start because his previous owners could no longer care for him. Jax is a very social boy who would make a wonderful addition to a family seeking a playful and devoted companion. He loves to be with his people, is a smart cookie who knows his basic commands and is eager to learn more! While he can be a little slow to trust new faces, slow introductions are recommended. Once he knows you, you'll have a friend for life!

Ideal Home

Jax is great with other dogs and absolutely LOVES to play. We are looking for a home with another young, playful dog to help him build confidence and be his playmate. He's active and a social butterfly with his canine friends, enjoying games of fetch with a ball or frisbee. He loves toys, especially squeaky ones he can shred! An active family that can keep him physically and mentally stimulated would be ideal. He has not been tested with cats.

Ongoing Health

Jax is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Jax is house-trained and crate-trained. As a young and curious pup, he does enjoy digging and chewing, but he responds well to gentle correction.
