Violet (bonded with Carter)

Violet came to us as a very scared young girl who has had a rough start. Luckily, we've stepped in to help her build confidence and trust. She's making great progress in her foster home, but still has some blossoming to do. She's comfortable with other dogs and would likely benefit from sharing her home with a confident canine companion. Violet is not yet comfortable with people, so she'll need an adopter who is patient and experienced with shy rescue dogs.

Ideal Home

Violet would do best in a single-family home with a large, fenced yard. She is not comfortable in city environments, and she does not walk on a leash or potty on leash. A secure yard is required to help her with training.

Ongoing Health

Violet is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. Her adoption fee covers basic vetting, and any necessary medical treatments.

Training & Support

Violet will need a refresher in house-training and we strongly recommend enrolling her in obedience training to help her adjust to her new home, stay socialized, and build a strong bond with her new family.
