About Sunnie D Light Sadie

Sunnie D is a force of pure joy with two settings: delighted-happy-to-be-here and double-delighted-happy-to-be-here! She's estimated to be around one year old, weighs 36 lbs, and is a purebred "sunshine puppy." This girl is the friend who wakes up ready to high-five the day, is always looking forward to making new friends, and is ready for anything (as long as you brought the snacks!) You can see Sunnie D in action on YouTube at https://youtu.be/ueKkiRRk5-0. She's endlessly happy, dog-friendly, and brings goofy confidence to every situation. With other dogs, she has "little-sister energy" – always involved, ready to romp, and not at all intimidated. Because she thrives on canine company, she will need a dog friend in her new home.

Sunnie D is a total fan of kids and loves being part of the action. She was an instant bestie with two young boys, immediately wanting to play. As a puppy, she can get a bit mouthy when excited, but it's not aggressive; it's just big-happy feelings she hasn't learned to express with manners yet. The good news is she takes correction and direction well and will improve quickly with a family ready to teach her.

We introduced Sunnie D to our house cat, and she was very eager and excited. While she showed playful curiosity, this energy might not work for every cat right away. If she joins a home with a cat, she'll need clear boundaries and consistent guidance to learn respectful, calm behavior. She does not need a feline friend and will be perfectly happy with a family and a doggie pal.

Ideal Home

Sunnie D is looking for a home that wants a happy, playful, and teachable young dog. Her new family should be ready to enjoy the process of shaping all that sunshine into a well-mannered best friend. She will thrive with a canine companion.

Training & Support

Sunnie D can be a bit mouthy when excited, but she takes correction and direction well. She will benefit from structured play, redirection to toys, and basic training games to channel her enthusiasm into good habits. She needs guidance to learn calm behavior around cats, if applicable.
